Buses can be divided into single vehicles and trains according to their overall structure. Single cars are the basic models, which are divided into large, medium and small according to the total weight or number of seats of the bus.
Large bus: The length of the bus is greater than or equal to 6m or the number of passengers is greater than or equal to 20. The number of passengers is variable and is determined by the upper limit. The number of passengers includes the driver.
Medium bus: The length of the bus is less than 6m, and the number of passengers is greater than 9 and less than 20.
Small bus: The length of the bus is less than 6m, and the number of passengers is less than or equal to 9.

The carriages and frames of a passenger train are divided into two sections, front and rear, and the two frames are connected by a hinged plate, and the two carriages are connected by a movable pleated awning, so that the carriages are connected front and back. This structure is also called an articulated or channel coach.
According to regulations, the length of a passenger train is generally not more than 18 meters.
